the problem:

 

1.anytime i punctuate something with a ' it ends up with backslashes before the '

 

example: they're would appear as they\'re

 

2. anytime i put "" around something, it also throws in backslashes around it.

 

example: "Legend" would appear as \"Legend\"

 

deleting the slashes made them go away, but the bug is obviously that they were put there in the first place.

I cannot seem to replicate this issue by either adding a new file entry with lots of text with apostrophes, or by editing a current entry. Can you tell me what you are doing?

i actually didn't do anything. just one day i looked at my page and it was fine, and the next it had the slashes in it.

 

the only actions i would have taken on any of my files would have been posting comments.

 

the only reason why i bothered reporting this one isn't because its a hard to solve problem (editing the file fixes it) but because it happened at all.

 

if no one else has had this problem i can just edit the file and forget it ever happened
