Gruffydd
Bethesda just activated their new forum at community.bethesda.net, and I promptly started a topic asking Bethesda to do something about the category cap that is crippling out ability to add categories to settlement mods.If you have concerns about the mod as well, please go there and let them know what you think. They may ignore it. Then again, if enough people (politely) tell them we want this changed, perhaps they'll take notice. https://community.bethesda.net/thread/2273

JuJooGuppy
I actually contacted a Bethesda employee a bit ago about the cap, more just politely asking if they were aware of it and whether they had plans to address it. Only reason I didn't post about the conversation, is because this person told me they honestly did not know; that this would likely be something they would be addressing with the GECK release. He did, however, mention that he would pass along the info about the cap and what it can / does do especially to modding. So, here's hoping. :)

Gruffydd
Yep. Never mind, folks, they aren't ready for open discussion about the games yet, they're only doing metadiscussion about the forum structure itself. However, that doesn't mean you can't contact them. Bethesda does have feedback options. Make your voices heard, people! It's the only way to get that accursed cap fixed.
seekingthesun
I don't see what it matters you can make subcategories for all your my little pony conversions or whatever the hell
Gruffydd
I don't see what it matters you can make subcategories for all your my little pony conversions or whatever the hell Not if you want people to actually *use* your mod, you can't. The category cap will interfere, cause conflicts with other mods, and make people abandon your mod in droves.

llamaRCA
The forum you went to is the new one. Bethesda's official forums have existed for years and most conversation will continue there until the new ones are fully set up.

Bethesda's official forums have existed for years and most conversation will continue there until the new ones are fully set up.I tried posting a question on there a while ago, asking if there would be fix for the keyword limit, but all I got was a bunch of hostile responses from people who think Beth can do no wrong.
