US standards in nudity?

I'm on Nexus for years but never been activea lot. Now I wanted to post some images and was surprised that the "No nudity" disclaimer does not disappear after setting the mark to "Adult content". So I read the rules and I'm really not sure if I understand it right. The first "mod of the month" ever was a nude body mod, the most downloaded and endorsed mods are nude body mods, there even are pornografic mods, perhaps half of Nexus is NSFW, but I'll become banned if I post a picture of a half nude womens breast? This is a UK server, not US, am I right? Do I really understand it right or is there a special area where to post nudity? I'm confused. This is Europe 2016, a site about cutting off peoples head in slow motion, and nudity is not allowed? :sad:

Nudity in the general Image Share was banned a few years back because more than 90% of the images uploaded to the Image Share at the time contained nudity. A lot was pornographic, with the slight "artful" nude here and there. This is in stark contrast to the file database where less than 5% of mods on the site are marked as containing adult-content. If the file database were to contain the amount of nudity the original Image Share did, I'd likely have to separate them.

 

As such, yes, nudity is banned in the general Image Share.

 

As you're a Premium Member you have access to the Supporter's Image Share, that does allow nudity. You can upload nude images to that Image Share through your user area on the Nexus.
