minngarm Posted March 21, 2016 Share Posted March 21, 2016 So I was binge watching Falling skies this weekend when I came up with a related mod concept for Xcom2 for it. Basically the jist of it is I would replace the ship icon on the map, and the base ship itself with a convoy. Adding a function to purchase new trucks/vehicles for it that would add crew capacity (troops to use on missions), defences (when attacked static gun drone/trucks.), and other facility rooms in truck form. Next I would expand each section of the map to have multiple regions per contient, and hub missions to move acrossed oceans and so on, and further expand the timer for the avatar project and so on. Now obviously that is a large rehaul mod, but I've not looked at the modding tools for xcom2 yet and am not even sure how feasible it is without seriously recoding most of the user interface outside of it. So my question is for those of you with experience on the tools, how easy is it to replace/expand/remove items from the base and map segments? So, enjoy ;) Seriously the series is bad bad bad. ..I don't know why I watched almost all episodes somehow hoping it would get better at some point.
