Automatron question

So I just started the automatron DLC and I am at the point where I need to build a Robot Workbench. When I select the quest and go to map it takes me to one of small settlements. I thought that was weird as I have almost all the settlements unlocked, however when I go to the workbench there is no Robot Workbench. There is a Settlers Workbench and I can build robots there but am I supposed to have a Robots Workbench too. And even then there's no way to make the modifications to Ada there. What am I doing wrong? I do have a number of crafting mods (Northland Diggers, Crafting Workbenches, Etc) running. Is there a conflict I am not aware of?

Remember where you find the artillery canons for The Castle? Or the chair for Mama Murphy? I believe it is called "Specials" section. Look there.

yes,. on my game its the very first section when you open the build menu. ALSO: you can build it at any of your settlements, even if it points to a minor one. Just building it will satisfy that requirement.

You can build more than one, too, so you don't really need to agonize over which settlement you want to choose.

I think it may just direct you to the closest settlement or something. It directed me to a little random undeveloped settlement I never use. I just built it at my main settlement.
