mac2636 Posted March 26, 2016 Share Posted March 26, 2016 Is this common? Sometimes when I create a new armor or clothing in FO4Edit, then start FO4 and load a save game, the new item isn't there. Do I always need to close out FO4Edit after saving, then start the game? And why in the world did Beth not pick one or the other MOutfit.nif or OutfitM.nif for goodness sake! Oh don't get me started on the naming conventions :dry: I'm pretty sure it's just a quirk of whichever dev did which. You want to have a grand ol' time, go look at a few things with cloth rigging and see all the different goddamned ways the bones are named. Kikaimegami Posted March 27, 2016 Share Posted March 27, 2016 No problem :thumbsup: I really wish there was a way to force it to write to disk, but looking into it, it's apparently something to do with how compiling the esp/esm files works (it only compiles the changes when you close).
