prisoners in oblivion

i am just curious, is there any point other than seeing the guys get impaled in the stakes below to releasing prisoners in towers within Oblivion realms

Good question I wondered about it too, spent some time trying to rescue, then stopped.

 

Really? i swear i've seen prisoners in oblivion. But maybie im wrong.

I remember seeing two prisoners (man & woman), I thought in Oblivion, one was under lava & the other was suspended over it & there was a lever also.

The one in lava would yell (for obvious reasons) then you pull the lever to help him out & the other goes down.

Being the gentleman I had to let the man fry.

 

Anyone else remember this?

That was in Paradise, and yes I remember it. I had a lot of fun with it. :P

I think Dagon just let Cameron have some of his realm to convert into paradise (or something like that), so paradise was just a different realm of Oblivion.

 

Indeed: Camaron's Paradise was some kind of Plane of Oblivion. In the game Martin says he is the "Sigil Stone" of the realm. Remove him to remove Paradise. And the 'recepy' for the gate was found in Dagon's book (always forget the name)

 

Still, the gate to paradise needs different items than a gate to Dagon's Realm (It is kind of foolish to look for three great sigil stones just to open one great gate) so they might be easier to find.
