Please god help me figure out why my game won't work

So, sadly my first post ever in the forums is a desperate plea for help, but i desperately need it..... lol

 

 

 

last night i tried learning how to use FNV edit, which I thought i got the hang of, till i tried using the MUM feature.

 

it did its thing, but my game wouldn't start. so i tried using the MRM feature (not sure if that's what i was supposed to do, it was an act of frustration)

 

long story short, it didn't fix the problem because something was changed in the DeadMoney.esm, or something, idk really, all i know is FNV edit won't even load.

i feel like a nub, and this probably has a really simple answer, but can someone help me fix mah game?

 

oh n yeah i have the latest version, as well as all the DLC

Hmm, I'd try re-downloading the DLC. If it works, it should be the easiest fix for whatever changes you've done to it.

 

Not sure how or if that's possible, though, since I didn't get any of the DLC.

This is definitely late, but I had the same problem, tried redownloading and it didn't work. Then I realized that for some reason BOSS had relocated the DLC .esm files fairly low on the load order (for .esm files) I moved all the DLC content back up to right behind FalloutNV.esm, and everything worked perfectly. Well, I had another error, but it was just another load order issue.

I had the same FormID problem as above and used the same solution as CrackedRecord.

BOSS had dropped the DeadMoney.esm to a lower position among the esms and it caused said error.
