blackkat9
I know there is a mod that adapts Ulfric's armor for females, when they loot his body or steal it from him. But, I would like to either find a copy of his armor or be able to craft it. Please, this is not a moral discussion about sides. This is an rpg and it's just a game. I'm just role playing like anyone else. I'm just hoping that someone can either fill this niche in the game or inform me, if something like this already exist. I have searched and searched. But, I haven't had any luck.
Hexxagone
Do you know how to work with the Creation Kit? This is fairly simple.
Novem99
Yes, you can do this very easily with the Creation Kit. But since the original game has no female version for Ulfric's armor you must use a mod that provides such a version and edit it.
blackkat9
I've honesty been interested in getting into Creation Kit. But, I'm not sure how to get started. I get nervous when things look to techy. But, if I find a good step by step explanation of how to do things. I would definitely give it a shot. blackkat9
Okay, I downloaded Creation Kit and I am trying to learn from the tutorials on YouTube. But, I think they might be out dated. Almost every video dates back to 2012. I guess I will take these question to the modding community. Since, it looks like my suggestion is turning into a quest to learn how to mod. Hexxagone
do you want to craft it? What about console commands to add it?
ElioraArin
If you really aren't interested in learning to mod I would be happy to do this for you - it would be extremely easy & take very little time. Just find a mod that adds a female version of Ulfric's clothes (that the author has given permission for others to use) & let me know. If the author of the version that you really want has not given permission I could pm you specific instructions on how to do it yourself for your own personal use (you just wouldn't be able to upload it for others to use). Hexxagone
Dont need permissions if Blackkat9 downloads Clothing and Clutter fixes http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/43053/? It makes the female version of Ulfric appear like the male version, so the new mod would just need to add a copy of his armor that can be crafted or found somewhere :)
ElioraArin
I can't access that webpage at the moment, but I will look into it tonight if I can - before the site went buggy on me I did find at least one with permissions that would allow me to make a fully standalone mod with craftable female clothes included, which means that it would work without "Clothing & Clutter Fixes" Edited March 30, 2016 by ElioraArin
ElioraArin
Blackkat9, if you like the sound of it I think I will make a standalone mod using "Ulfric's Clothes - For Women" as a base. I will duplicate Ulfric's clothes, boots & bracers into 2 craftable "Bear" sets, one unarmoured & one armoured, both of which can be worn by males & females. They will be made of bear pelts/linen wraps, with either iron (armoured) or leather (unarmoured), & iron ore as a colourant. The unarmoured will be made at the tanning rack, & the armoured will be made at the forge.I will adapt the stats of Ulfric's outfit (which will now also be able to be worn by females) to match the Armoured Bear set, but it will still be called Ulfric's Clothes/Boots/Bracers.I will probably also incorporate it into another mod of mine, so thanks for the idea :D Edited March 30, 2016 by ElioraArin
