Is the GECK Wiki losing Iinformation?

Hello there,

I recently started modding again and noticed, that some wiki pages seems to lose information.

For example the effect entries:
http://geck.bethsoft.com/index.php?title=ScriptEffectUpdate

Okay, almost nothing there, it links to the TES-Wiki:
http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=Constwiki/index.php/ScriptEffectUpdate

No text either.

As far as I remember there was a page at least in 2013 with relevant information, now it seems to be gone.

All effect block information is gone.

What's happening in Kyrandia? The hand of fait strikes yet again?

Edit:

Apparently just the links are corrupted

http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=ScriptEffectUpdate

So if some of you folks wonder where the information is gone, use the elderscrolls wikis search function, not the links from the GECK wiki.

Or just cut the url a little, it seems that, when the non-working one is this

http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=Constwiki/index.php/ScriptEffectUpdate

and the working one is this

http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=ScriptEffectUpdate

all that needs to be done is remove the part after "title=" but before the actual page title (here it is the "Constwiki/index.php/"). In case someone did not notice it yet. And yes, it is a bit confusing, took some time to realise it myself, too. Wonder why they did not fix it using some level of automation somewhere, to save users the trouble. But then again, it is Bethesda, and the wiki is old, so go figure...

The links to the TES pages have been screwed up for a long time now.

I fixed a couple of them but there's a lot. I think it happened during a TES site re-do.

Edit - anyone can make an account over there to edit/add/fix stuff. I fixed the links to the three ScriptEffect block commands.

Yep, most links of the tes-wiki are brocken. To make it worse, tutorials and linked images are affected, like so:

http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=Basic_Animation_Tutorial

Frankly, that's quite a task to fix that stuff.

I'm not certain what server they are using, but there should be an automated routine to fix those links.

At least linux has the ability to scan through files and find specific expressions. You can pipe and probably replace it.
