ripple
Setting up vendors in the GECK is always flaky. I've set up a merchant NPC, unique container, appropriate dialogue. Everything works fine except the container inventory won't show in the dialogue barter menu. Not sure why, here's a checklist of what I've done. - merchant NPC and container assigned unique ref and set to persistent.- merchant linked ref to container.- container ownership set to merchant NPC.- autocalc services unchecked in merchant NPC, individual item categories (weapons, books, etc.) checked (this actually ends up making the merchant NPC's personal inventory show up in the display menu, which I do not want).- offer services checked in merchant NPC's AI packages. The only thing I can think of why this is not working is that the merchant container is in a difference cell than the merchant NPC (this is deliberate, as I want the NPC to offer services regardless of where he is, and his AI package takes him to a few places). Any ideas? Edit: Nevermind, I fixed the problem. I am an idiot. Edited June 19, 2011 by ripple

ripple
What was the issue? I thought I had set the NPC as a linked ref to the container. When I triple checked, I realized I did not. :P Hence my idiocy.
