I did change it. Game created a default, I played (First thought: Where's my BeautObilivion gone D:) Still crashed. I put that in my last post when I edited it =p

The warning noises you hear make me think of Windows' User Account Controls or something else that would cause pop-up windows.

 

You can buy a good antivirus at Best Buy, i'd recomend Kaspersky.

Ah, no, it's from the crash preventer mod. It's old, and obviously has no idea what the hell is happening to me. It doesn't work. It works with minor bugs, using those noises to indicate a prevented crash. It's rather handy. Sometimes giving me the opportunity to save and quit manually, saving time, progress and a corrupt save.

Rebuild your bashed patch.

 

If all else fails, reinstall.

You say that crash preventer is an old mod; do you mean out-dated by that?

I would look for alternatives if I were you :tongue:

 

It sucks when Oblivion starts to go haywire with the exact reason unknown :pinch:

Now, I may sound retarded, but how DO i rebuild the Bashed Patch -.- I remember trying a couple times, to no avail, because lazy and just fixed the problem but rearranging the load orders and mods. *Sigh* Sorry if that's a retarded thing to ask, but I have never done it before and never seen how to xD

 

Edit: Oh and the crash preventer, it's a bit old, but it does help. It prevents some crashes, and is quite handy :3

 

Edit2: Okaaay, removing a few random mods has reduced the warning noises to just one. Still, I get a crash, so it's STILL a severe problem, as I can't walk like, 20 foot without Oblivion going to Oblivion.

OP: you need Better Oblivion Sorting Software -BOSS for load order sorting. You need Wrye Bash (I see you have it) so how about this Wrye Bash Pictorial. Also, you should make sure you are not missing any masters, Wrye Bash shows you each plugins' master when you click the plugin and look in the lower-right-side pane. I think the pictorial might cover that, too.

Edit: Another Problem! Well. It's the same old one. Only without a warning. In all saves.. Is my Oblivion COMPLETELY f***ed?

Edit 2: Right, it basically happens, regardless of where I am. Walk a bit, crash. Wait: Crash. Fast travel, surprisingly, no crash. But if I walk, THEN fast travel: Crash. And allll this happened after NOTHING WAS CHANGED X.x

Right, had an idea! Restore it to a previous date! :D Doing that now! Taking ages, as Oblivion has swelled to over 40-50 GB. With many more things going to be added, obviously ;3

Hopefully this will work! If it does, I will inform everyone, to get some.. Backup.. Restore thing. I dunno. I done it before with the entire system, accidentally :D Didn't know why there was a 'Restore Previous Version' thing in the right-click menu. But anyways, I hope this works. If it does, I'm recommending an Alienware, and dual 750GB RAID0 HDDs. Because it may have just saved my Oblivion from Oblivion :D
