xeltius
i am having the same problem. it started when i started using the thieves arsenal mod. were there blue exclamation points in the diamonds? i know the yellow diamonds have something to do with the game using placeholders rather than crashing, but that is the extent of my knowledge. Peregrine
The ! symbol is used as a "mesh not found" indicator. Somewhere in installing your mods, you screwed something up, and the game doesn't know where to find the meshes it's expecting. So it puts the ! symbol there, to let you know you have a problem to fix. I don't know if you installed a mod incorrectly and misplaced the mesh files, or if you installed something that modified the default ones. Either way, the best solution is to just reinstall the game and start over, being more careful in what you do.

Do you mean reinstall the game and reactivate the mods, being more careful, or do you mean start everything over from scratch? Plus, this only happened after i activated the thieves arsenal mod. I mean delete the game, reinstall it, then carefully start adding mods one at a time. Either you'll get them all installed properly and it'll work, or you'll know which one caused the problems. Delete and reinstall again, leaving out the problem mod. Of course since you say it happened after installing the thieves arsenal mod, you have a pretty likely suspect. Double-check that you installed all meshes properly for it. If you did, the mod is just broken and/or conflicting with other mods you have, so don't use it. Dcav
Yeah good advice ive done this all already and even with zero mods after the reinstallation and had the same problem. The last mod i used was Deadly reflex 3 (an obse required mod) this is when i started having problems. I will try again to uninstall and reintall and leave the game pure vanilla and see whats to see. Dcav
The uninstall worked this time, now the ardous task of reinstalling mods or even trying to find them again.
