all right, all right. i won't get an Alienware, but i've had a bad experience with the PCs i've built or family members built....

so i'll just get an IBuyPower

24Gig of RAM

Liquid Cooling

Overclocking

all that good stuff :D

24gigs of ram! are you gonna run 3 monitors with 7 internet bowers running 4 music programs while playing 3 different games? if not its way overkill most games dont use over 2 gigs.

it is overkill, but it makes sure you will never run out.... ever.... for all eternity... or something like that :D

and its a cheaper way to burn cash than buying a boat

actually... it's under $3,000 :D

You could have 8gb and never hit any sort of bottleneck from ram. There's no such thing as "ever" since there will always be some limitation on components (like processor or HDD swap/read speed), or components just getting old.

Save the money from the ram, overclocking, and liquid cooling and buy yourself a good case and fans... You'll be happy you did. Seriously, overclocking in this age of console ports doesn't make a lick of sense beyond just showing off. When your computer doesn't end up frying out because your pump goes bad overnight, you'll be thankful.

Meeh if i wanted to get a custom built pc like that, i would go with my local TigerDirect.ca, they build pc's just the way you want it, and then some with the latest hardware.

http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/thumbsup.gif No shipping fees either.http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/whistling.gif

Of course i would build it myself anyways.

24Gig of RAM

as said, overkill

Liquid Cooling

unless you plan on overclocking a good chunk and running some hardcore games non stop, not really that amazing of a feature, esp when its prolly overpriced. a good 3rd party fan is just as good, and cheaper.

Overclocking

what good cpu doesnt allow this? again prolly paying extra because it has this "feature"

EVGA Classified SR-2. Nuff said.

Also supports 2 processors. If you want a supercomputer, start with the SR-2.
