Iburnaga
Because I enjoy using detect life for sneaking I'm usually a mystic archer or a mystic assassin. But sometimes I just go for the hack and slash and end up with some big stupid brute of a man who's 100% beat untill they stop moving. But then after a while they end up being sneaky and strong so sneak attacks do massive damage and it's funny when they spot me, because then I just get up pull out a sword and slash till I'm surrounded by corpses. mudkip
My favorite style of playing is the advocate of meaningless homicide, yep yep.
Faivon
I played most of playing style ... From Heavy Armored Type (Heavy Armor + 2H Blunt Weapon or Blade with Shield), Thief + Archer type (Sneaky type ... ) and Wizard who unleash some crazy spells. But in the end, I end up playing "Lord" Class .. which is my jack-of-all-trades class. It takes a long of time to maximize all the skills ... but that's my Lord! hehehe
Akulakhan001
My favorite playing style is sneaking.I dislike the thief gameplay, thieves guild missions just get boring.I just hate being a member of the DB, the missions are boring and senseless (killing someone for 50 coins and some chlotes? I don't think so.) I just like using sneak and speechcraft to accomplish my quests, and I hate just running in with a sword like some crazy fool. Vagrant0
I go for the the unlimited method. I can kill fast, I can kill slow, I can use stealth, or just run into a room and see what comes running. I can use summons, or turn people against eachother. I can use bow or spells, or just stand there while healing myself and using frost shield, fire shield, shock shield, reflect damage kills off any attacker. I choose my major skills around each of the stats, but work on pretty much everything. I usually pick a mage race for the higher magicka, but play them more like a buffed up fighter. I take Blunt and heavy armor, but tend to use blade and light armor when fighting. I like to be flexible enough for whatever the world, or myself can throw at me. wizardmirth
Magesign breton, light armor & blade, w/ speechcraft & mercantile in majors, also usually restoration. Frequent use of thief skills; raise everything short of blunt & heavy armor. In sum: Roguemage Thief versatile. For a while now at max difficulty. For toughest foes usually poisoned sneak arrow, conjure, disintegreate weapon, weakness to fire w/ fire w/ duration, finish with shock sword damage and serve with garnish. hoots7
Sypron said: I ditched sneak skills after I learned how to hit them up to 100 before leaving the prison. Whats the point in having a major skill one thats already capped? Of course, I still use stealth characters, just without the sneak skill as major.I didn't choose sneak as my major skill either.I took the question "how do you prefer to play.." as meaning “how do I as a gamer play”, not what attributes / skills I choose for my character. When I first started playing Oblivion I was playing the Thief games (& still am) so I figured those should have taught me enough about stealth playing already so I concentrated on my weaknesses, it has worked quite well for me.
