bben46
Not much info to go on here. :psyduck:What did you do to get in that condition? All of the vanilla textures and meshes are in the BSA files - did you do something to them? Or are these from mods you installed?
davycrockett
try some of my noobie tactics first find a large hammer ... nah just kidding dont you have a backup file ? cos you could repair from there , just compare the two folders copy the missing files and paste in place . nosisab
Follow bben's direction and you'll find the light, there is no way to lose the vanilla textures other than messing with the official BSA files, which NO mod does, so the meshes and textures are yet there. What is happening is one of these three options: A - You installed a mod incorrectly (its meshes and textures are missing or wrongly placed) or which depends on extra resources packs or depend on another mod.R - Verify the installation, read the mods documentation, be sure to follow the procedures and mainly insure you don't install "both" if the mod say you must "chose" one option. Finally, download and install all the mod's dependence, install them and afterward reinstall the actual mod. B - You removed a mod which shared those textures with another mod yet installed, which got so crippled.R - Reinstall the Mod that lost the files. C - Everything is actually right in place BUT you need to perform an "archive invalidation" procedure.R - Install the "Archive Invalidation" mod and use the FOMM option with the same name if still needed. PS: Some mods might need to be filtered and bashed together in a "bashed patch"; which involves downloading and using an utility named Wrye's Bash and probably downloading and installing another utility named BOSS to correct your load order and pass parameters to bash your actives mods together. I might be confused about that BOSS part because I'm actually playing Oblivion and long time don't play Fallout, still I know this utility exist for Fallout 3 and New Vegas too, even if with the same or another name, I hope someone correct this part if I'm mistake.
