I have been working for a quite a long time to add realism to my game. Among this quest was the replacement of bodymeshes... Nothing extreme, just... realistic. Those filthy cloths are naturally unacceptable. But the problem here is one of luxury; there are too many bodymods. Downloading and trying several, especially with them all having like 5 options for each mesh making countless combinations, I always end up with seams, discoloration, or something outright unrealistic... What I would like, is no seams or discoloration (in the first place). And all nude (fair is fair; realism dictates the guys to be able to get nakie too huh). No need for anything like BBB, anime, or such things... Furthermore what I'd like, is preferably to not have to mix several mods / authors (hoping it can come from a single source, though just a preferance) and a compatible, once again seamless and discoloration-less female clothing replacer (still normal clothing; but with the 'improved' bodymesh). However, I know a handful of mods close to what you are looking for that would at least cut down on the number of mods downloaded.As far as males go, this is your best bet:http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=28646 If you don't like smooth body textures on your males try this:http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=24579 For females, of course try this. There are multiple options as far as bust and butt size:http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15802 And of course a seam reducer (more like a seam overhaul):http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=19738 I also know of a couple where you can nearly completely customize the looks of females if you are interested. As far as armor replacers go, I'm not the one to help you as I kinda pick them apart anyway haha. If you need anything else, or those aren't exactly what you are looking for. MarkInMKUK Posted July 1, 2011 Share Posted July 1, 2011 (edited) As far as seams go, there is a limitation imposed by the game rendering which means that the neck seam is always going to show to some extent. There are mods which add neck jewellery to disguise this, which are probably as close as you will get to seamless. The rest of the body is fine once you use something like the Roberts Male/Female or the HGEC female mods. There are also texture replacers for the HGEC mods, and probably for the Roberts ones too. Remember you will need a matching clothing and armour replacer for your chosen body mod (search for stock replacer), and in the HGEC case that will include having to find the matching cup size or your women will either look like they wear minimiser or padded bras. Striker879 Posted July 1, 2011 Share Posted July 1, 2011 Another option to look at is electrro's BBB Designer body spell, which includes male body options as well as female and covers most of the popular choices. As MarkInMKUK noted above you need to match clothing and armor to match the body type. With the Designer body spell you can use clothing and armor that doesn't match your base body type by changing yourself or an individual NPC to match the item you want to use. Lehcar Posted July 2, 2011 Share Posted July 2, 2011 (edited) For a female body replace I recommend Robert's Female, plus this mesh replacement for the lower body. Seriously, it's absolutely beautiful. Don't get me wrong, HGEC is nice, but frankly I think the hand and foot meshes are too vanilla like, chunky and unrealistic, low quality and ugly. Also, it has some really ugly seams along the back that I just couldn't stand. Plus I think the shoulders are very ugly, made all of the females in my game look anorexic and highly un-realistic. For male body replace I recommend Robert's Male V5. Unfortunately there are far fewer body replacers out there for males, but seriously, this one is the absolute best one there is, and there are several good variations included that you can choose from. It's also the most widely supported one. Also, I strongly recommend these absolutely beautiful Robert's Male and Female textures from Slof. They're absolutely wonderful, and there's textures for *ALL* of the vanilla races of both sexes (which is truly amazing, because good textures for both male and female Orc/Dark Elf/Argonian/Khajiit/Dremora/Golden Saint/Dark Seducer are VERY difficult to find for ANY body replacer, most mods only have textures for the humanoid races, which sucks).
