Bethesda E3 2016

Unlikely. They have stated that they expanded their DLC plans for Fallout 4, and that they're hopeing for more DLC than any previous game they've done. . That would imply that Far Harbour is at best the middle point. Which means Fallout 4 is going to dominate BGSs lineup for 2016.

They hit a good point between announcement and release with Fallout 4. Expect an announcement the E3 following them being done with Fallout 4, AT THE EARLIEST. Bethesda Game Studios just doesn't havr the bodies to squeak out a TES game while working on Fallout 4.

Bethesda as a publisher still has plenty to talk about even without an Elder Scrolls announcement.

If Bethesda do what they have always done then they will have only just begun development of TES 6 this is because they only work on one major project at a time. From the moment Fallout 4 came out they will have moved some of there staff ( maybe about half ) over to TES 6 to start initial development, when the last piece of dlc comes out for Fallout 4 they will move the remainder of there staff over to TES 6. It will probably be in development for another two and a half to three years so i'm sorry to say there is no chance of any info for a very long time.

As for E3 2016 they will probably be showcasing things like dishonored 2 and maybe the final piece of Fallout 4 dlc which could be the biggest one of them all.

Well, they HAVE opened a second studio, and are expanding more than we've seen in over a decade, so we may see a shift in their development patterns...

But one thing i find people don't seem to recognise is, Bethesda's staff is minuscule for a AAA studio. They've employed, since Oblivion, about 200 people. Compare this to the almost 500 who worked on The Witcher 3, or the more than 1000 that churn out Assassin's Creeds on an 18 month schedule.

There's a reason why Bethesda has shown a tendency to focus on a single game at a time. Because they're basically still running on 1990's roster scales.

I read that the second studio was mainly for mobile games which as you pointed out above is ridiculous given the size of their outfit.

Here is a piece of the article

Todd Howard, creative director at Bethesda, thinks that this success is due to the fact that Fallout Shelter is more than just a simple mobile game.
And the team is now looking to build more mobile games. Its latest Montreal studio was even built for PC and mobile gaming, meaning that Bethesda is taking it very seriously.
Personally i think they should have two large studios one for TES and one for Fallout that way we wouldn't have to wait that long between releases.

They would still need about more than 100% of man power they have now to do this.

It'll come. Maybe not this time around but they will be displaying some things that might hint at what's in store. TES VI will be around before you know it. It's funny, when I was younger, time was so slow. Now holy crap! A week, a month...no time at all The weird thing is that when I was in my 20s and 30s, spending 300 hours on a project seemed like no big deal to do. 300 hours? Yeah I can do that this summer, sure. Now? Forget it. When I was 32, I spent 300 hours doing bodywork on my classic car to ready it for paint. Now just driving up to storage to even look at the damn thing is a hassle! And somehow I have also learned how to wait. Bizarre.

Thanks to goodness that there's some quality games and simulations out there for my non-firearm and non-automobile free time entertainment- it's tough to go shooting one of my rifles at 11 pm in s snowstorm, you know? The club would frown on that. And fun with the car? Fun sure, but when I get a talking to from some kid in a cop suit who's half my age and doesn't understand that manual transmission cars get a throttle blip on a downshift so you don;t pitch forward in the seat and he thinks I'm showing off...that's not s spicy meat-a-ball, dig? But still, all of this is much better for people than that dumb TV is. I dread the "what's on TV tonight?" years of my life. That's got to be the sign I have become old.

Enough rambling, the painkillers have apparently kicked in, lol...I want to see the new TES titles too, but, well. Patience.

Makes you wonder though if the size of the staff matters as much as what you do with it?

With a second studio, it makes me wonder if Bethesda will speed up the development cycle for its top franchise series as well as continuing with the Fallout series?

A small competent shop can turn things around faster than a large, incompetent one. Available work always fills available time.

Not saying That either Beth studio is incompetent, I'm making an analogy to point out that more warm bodies does not guarantee speed.
