billyro
This was a scene I made for graphics for school some time back. It was my first real scene, and I don't have 3ds Max at home, so eh.It wasn't intended for gaming, for I wanted to test my skills for when I do. What do you think? (Please don't say "THIS SUCKS!!!!!!!!!" or something along those lines. :) )
LHammonds
The objects look pretty cool. The lighting seems unrealistic though...as if only from a single light source which is causing some hard shadows which makes it look more like an outside shot more than inside a room but even then, the shadows should not be that hard. Lighting of a scene can be an entire class by itself. I avoid it entirely since everything I have ever created was intended to be placed in a game which has its own lighting and rendering system. So setting up a render scene in my 3D modeling tool seems like a waste of time for my pipeline. billyro
Thanks for the feedback. Sadly, I doubt that I will be able to do an assignment with so much freedom as this one, but I'll keep these in mind.
