jarfossum1
I have tried to download different body texture mods (Not at the same time) but i don't see any changes. When i take the clothes off my character, she still has underwear on. She's not naked. A while ago i deleted all my mods i had downloaded from the nexus mod manager, because my computer ran out of memory, so i deleted every mod for Fallout 4. But when i'm installing Body texture mods, i can't see any difference. Edited April 20, 2016 by jarfossum1

SharraShimada
First, you have to install CBBE the proper way. There are manuals written and there are videos. Read/watch them. And second: if you want to get armor/clothing to adapt to your bodystyle, you have to run bodyslide, because the armor wont know, what you want it to do. You have to adjust the armor along your style-preset. If you do nothing, your armor will still look the old way.

There are so many users out there, who dont even know the basics, and thats the problem most oft the time. So, thats the first thing you gonna ask. But back to you: Have you, by any chance, updated to the latest version of the game? The problem then may be, you have installed everything, but the game disabled your mods, so the wont work. Do you use NMM?

noahdvs
For some reason, messing with archive settings in the fallout4.ini or fallout4custom.ini crashes the game whenever a save finishes loading, so you might be stuck without CBBE until there is a way around that. GrumpGamey91
There are three parts to a body changing, the texture files, the material files and the meshes. The texture files are just that, they are the skin or skin and underwear combined. The materials files are pointers, references that path or map to which textures should be used. The mesh itself hard codes paths to both materials and to texture files. The directory locations for these are as follows:Meshes:data\meshes\actors\character\basehumanmaledata\meshes\actors\character\basehumanfemale Textures:data\textures\actors\character\basehumanmaledata\textures\actors\character\basehumanfemale Materials:data\meshes\materials\character\basehumanfemale CBBE adds addition to their mesh, the back of head texture (back of neck to top of back of head) named femalebhed_d.dds, femalebhed_s.dds and femalebhed_n.dds. and uses the paths above. The texture files you want check for/change are femalebody_d.dds, femalebody_s.dds and femalebody_n.dds. Note:If these aren't showing check your meshes directory for femalebody.nif, open this in outfitter (bodyslide and outfitter), on the CBBE listing in outfitter double click it, it will then show you that paths and files it uses for both materials and textures. Note: For you to see a naked body, you need a piece of clothing that maps to the naked textures and materials. There are several on the nexus site, the vault 114 suit, the summer nude cloth, et. DuringOurFinalHour
So i was able to download the CBBE mod and install it to the game, but I had to uninstall it for some reason and now it wont reinstall. Every time it pops up in the queue it says "a problem occurred during install". Anyone know why it keeps doing that and can help??
