I can get the description but any other tabs files, posts ect open and have a letter "E" where the data should be. The normal nexus footer and the mods header are there just the data is missing.

1. please write a redirect rule to refer all incoming http links from external sites to https. Should be doable within 5 minutes and resolves a lot of trouble for external links to nexus sites or files, links in descriptions and so on. This is also important for your search engine ranking. If you don't redirect, you produce a lot of dead links and this will rank you down.

2. make the connection completely run SSL or don't do it at all. Firefox warns about the connection isn't safe because some elements are still loaded through a unsafe http connection (images? videos? scripts?) and some other browsers will per default either just don't load that content or will even don't load the site at all with that kind of mixed content. This is probably also the explanation why so many users have problems right now here in the comments.

Other than that: great you switched to secured connections, thank you. Very appreciated :)

Uh... edit: the server went down for a few minutes and now the connection is indeed complete secured. Works fine, thank you again :)

I really hope some sort of redirect gets added for old links and bookmarks. I have over 300 nexus mods across vairous games bookmarked, and I really don't feel like going through every one of them to add an s into the address o..O I'm not even a mod author but if I was, I can't imagine having to edit every link on every one of my mods now. I mean Gambit77 alone would have to edit likely over 100 links just in the descriptions for all of his compatibility/merger patches. I just tried one of them and sure enough you're sent to the req mods page, but trying to utilize any of the tabs to get to files or posts just serves you up a capitol E. Not to mention, all of my mods in NMM now open up the broken E pages when clicking on the version numbers. Not sure why this change was even needed anyway, its the nexus. How secure do our mod dl's need to be, and who's really intercepting Nexus traffic to gain what info? o..O Edited by RideTheSpiralARC
