smobo1
I didn't realize that I had ad-block enabled on the Nexus for so long, considering I typically disable it for any site I use often. However, I quickly received an ad that forced me to re-enable ad-block. The ad in question opened a tab that said "Adobe: Update Adobe Flash Player" and downloaded a .exe file instantly. It was NOT an adobe URL! This is clearly malware and completely unacceptable. This is the URL of the pop-up I received:https://caivelitemind.com/2181079241378/ad7c9d1bab6a97d1a22a1c2f3e5a8d9b.html Please do what you can do limit such ads. I know that it isn't 100% under Nexus control, and I appreciate your efforts to limit this.
repusDude
You can click "report this ad" next to the offensive ad so the Nexus staff can be notified. You can limit ad by being supporter/premium member... I think.

Robottttt
Seconded. I ran into this as well yesterday, same site and everything. Literally the first time I turned Adblock off on this site I get blasted with that. I reported it using the contact form since as soon as Defender started yelling at me for the download I yanked the ethernet cable and shut everything down. Yay, quarantine on a computer that I had assembled just an hour prior. Being a supporter removes them completely forever. Understood, but given that these ads are doing actual harm to visitors and users, that sounds way too much like racketeering for me to be comfortable with it. The ads are not run by the Nexus, but by a third-party vendor. Do a screen capture of the offending advertisement so that Dark One can contact the vendor to have the ad removed. And it is not racketeering for Nexus wanting to be compensated for the extreme costs in running a site like this by ads or subscription.
