stevie70
Awesome. Well it looks perfect. I thought about suggesting the enclave officer's hat (that's the one you used, right?) because I think it looks better. It's what I always wore in FO3.yes right, that's the enclave officer hat. wanted something more postman- and less baseball-like than the roving trader cap, and the goggles were in the way anyway.brown version and maybe a black one coming up the next two or three days (right now i'm trying to push vegas baby a bit further towards the finish line...) anyhow, the idea apparently was pretty good, gets downloaded pretty much... :-)
Krutz
1. Reduce the tounge-in-cheek content in the vanilla, non-wild wasteland game and move it all to WW. For example, I think Lily is a silly companion. I'd much rather have Marcus, Neil, or Fawkes. Even Mean Sonofabitch or Keane. Also, Come Fly With Me is an absurd quest. That definitely should have been WW, and the repconn test center instead should have been a war against feral ghouls. Rhonda and Tabitha is also lame. Black Mountain should have been the home of Overlords preparing to take action against New Vegas and the NCR. Have you ever played Fallout 1 and 2, the humor and pop culture references are what makes these games so enjoyable. Even if I had, my criticism would still be valid. I understand that many people may enjoy the humor. I don't hate it, but I don't think it enhances the game. To be honest, it's just not very funny. So my suggestion remains reasonable. Someone like you could choose the Wild(er) Wasteland Trait. I would choose to have my Fallout as dark as possible. Ideally we'd both get maximal enjoyment out of the game that way. And Steve! I'm going to check out the three versions of the cap right now! Ideally we'd both get maximal enjoyment out of the game that way.personally, i also clearly prefer a good portion of sarcasm & irony to dead serious darkness (not only in games, but in everything in life, including life itself :-) - but i'd agree that, in new vegas, the humor partly feels a bit, dunno, adolescent. in fo3, it was somewhat dryer and more subtle - and, most of all, not feeling like forced into about omnipresence - , which much better suited the setting for my tastes.plus, i think in nv, they've largely overdone it with the pop references - i mean i LIKE pop references, but in NV, about EVERYTHING appears to be one... but what you'd need to fix that wouldn't be a modder, but a writer... :-) And Steve! I'm going to check out the three versions of the cap right now!...and to my joy, you obviously like them, according to the comments page... :-))
