magmameister Posted May 4, 2016 Share Posted May 4, 2016 Hey all, I installed the Ties that Bind mod as it sounded really interesting and added to the main story of Fallout 3 with a new character, but since installing it my hair mod (listed in my mod files as HairPack.esp and has an extra file called hair_add_npc.esp) has stopped working. I'd also installed a couple of other mods at the same time so I removed those and still the same issue. I'd also read on this forum about BOSS that supposedly sorts mod load orders out and I tried to run that, but even after putting my mod order through BOSS, the mod still won't load at all. There doesn't seem to be any mention of potential conflicts so I'm not sure what's happening. magmameister Posted May 7, 2016 Author Share Posted May 7, 2016 (edited) As I am having issues with my mods, I am a little reluctant to install more mods until the issue has been fixed. I can, however, use the 'showbarbermenu' command in the console to bring up the hair menu that way. When I do this though, only the vanilla hairstyles are shown and none of the ones which the mod is supposed to add (that's what the HairPack.esp file does, hair_add_npc.esp just allows the hairstyles to be used by NPC characters as well). Edit to add: I'll give this mod a whirl though despite my reluctance and see if it does provide a workaround. D:send me your current saved game for analysis, possibility the data is overwrite by another mods actions. known issues can be fixed if I know more....can suggest temperaments for tests on your end.
