redneck1st
Ok folks I'm in Chapter 2 followed La Roche and I'm no in Vergen Working on the Blood quest. Now I just completed getting the Bannar and I'm going after the sword that I need. Now found an area for which is entitled "Hary's Lair while searching around and decided to check it out. More out of curiosity than anything. After killing a Bunch of harpies. I found in this area a Locked door as well as for a locked chest as well as what seems to be interactive boulders as they are highlited when I use the Medallion. What I'd like to know what is the deal with this area? Is the something that is part of the Sco'atel path? Whats up with the boulders and the locked chest? Any idea where I'd locate the key for the chest? Thanks for satisfying my curiousity about this here.
BarefootWarrior
I believe that will show up a bit later when you start to look for items of power, it is a side quest...'Baltimore's Nightmare'...I think that's right. Just keep going and this eventually will show up.

I`m currently in act 1 and i`ll be doing the Roche path on this play but in my previous plays the stones which highlight as well as the locked chest and locked door are part of the Iorveth path . Maybe someone who has done the Roche path could tell you more .
redneck1st
Thanks guys I was wondering about the area. Thought it might have to do with the other path but wasn't sure. At least I got some xp for killing the harpies.<G> Well guess I won't worry about that til my next play through and I'll Just go work on obtaining the sword that I need. BarefootWarrior
Tommy is correct, and I forgot to mention this, this quest is when you follow Lorveth's path. Even when you are in Vergen following Roche's path, this does not show up.

Even when you are in Vergen following Roche's path, this does not show up. I guess thats why it don't show up in the Journal when you are doing La Roche's quest's because it's one for which you get while doing Loreth's path which makes sense. Well at least I got a few extra points for killing the Harpyies.<LOL> BTW what is up with the Mystic River Quest? Last thing for which I found out about was is in chapter 2 I found a letter in Loredo's home. I also seen in the journal a mention about another boat further down river and yet from the looks of it I've got most of the quest done in Chapter 2 and yet nothing. I think that I've got maybe 1/2 dozen or so things left to do not counting the mini game ones, which don't really interest me. And I've found nothing more out about this quest. tommy5761
If the boat is in the same place as the Iorveth path then when you reach the Troll lair turn left and press the M key and stay left on the map after a bit the path should fork and then you take the right fork which should take you to the boat . The picture of the boat should show on the map
dragonbird
Yes, it's in the same place, so you're right - you get access fairly late in the chapter if you're on the Roche path.
