Hello to the world of Morrowind!

Lord of the Strings

Recommended Posts

I just want to say hello to everybody here and that I'm quite happy that there are so many others who don't want to give up there morrowind obsession for the latest game :-))

I was playing around with morrow for about four years or so and building my own elven's island took quite a good part of the time; now I found on these pages some awesome utils and got raged by the really exciting new aspects of a double sized landscape view (MGE a.s.o.) . This was what i ever was longing for (o.k.: now may gigant rock island shrunk to a lummerland but what matter's ;-)

However, the reason why I'm looking here is getting some help in a really ridiculous problem with the bloodmoon patch and win2k and as this is just the box for saying hello I' will spell me away to the general threads.

*but i will come _ back_ and then my sword will hit you (more than my poor german english can tell ;-) yeah*!

Ciao && have fun

The Lord of the Strings

PS:

Sorry, this may may' ve been kind of hard stuff; so ahm If you never heard about lummerland you may have a look here ....

German? That would explain the terrible spelling and grammar...but Dark0ne doesn't persecute people who can't spell, so you're welcome here.

Now if I were in charge...I'd require everyone to spell and punctuate correctly, and use proper grammar, or I'd ban them. Yes... ;)

...Hey Dark0ne, need any more Admins? :rolleyes:

Hello sir, though your arrival is a bit late. You can tell that very few people visit the Morrowind forums any more, but thats fine. They'll come around after another Oblivion patch :P.

So play nice with the other esophagus's and improve your spelling!

With all due respect to everyone present, I must say that our newcomer has excellent English and actually made very few (and very forgivable) mistakes. I'd like to see how well you lot write in German :P

Wilkommen, fellow Morrowind fan. Enjoy your time here and as a great man once said, "Have fun and don't spam ^^"

In fact, I think he said it more than once XD

Thank you a lot :-) May be you're a bit spellbound? So: case you accept spellpoints as a currency, maybe we should engage in business? ;-)

The Lord of the Spells ....

PS: have some trouble with the program environment (no, *not* considered wrong, just *unused* to it);; so if this may result in some skew posting: please forgive: or should I better say : pleaze? or pl5aYe?

You' re too kind. And it's really nice to be here!!

If you'd *know*, what German high school teachers of the English language in the 70'ies *thought* what student's have to know, you would be *ROTFL". But there are *2* things I will never forget: allways write the "I" in large and if you are unsure, whether to set the comma or not: don't do it ;-)

But as a matter of fact: I'm (!) not here to discuss the German teachers of the English lang.

The worse is, that one didn't learn how to talk to people but reading texts (o.k. some Oxford English as well; but to be honest: in what Irish pub are you talking Queen's English eh?) : so, if some remarks of mine (correct ?) seem impolite, it's just a lack of

knowledge, and what's the parole of the time? learning, learning, learning ...

Bye

PS: I've an idea what these funny reddened letters seem to mean, oh ... wow ....

Take the rest for a kind of creative writing, well ?

Guten tag! That's about as far as I go with German -- it was my favourite language at school, but sadly I have forgotten most of it now!

Yep, have a nice day as well !

All of my poor English is learned by linux man pages and playing Morrowind in the original version. So one can learn. Playing Oblivion in the German version doesn't do the same inverse. :-( Therefore forget about it ( actually, I won't play Oblivion unless I can find here the O.version )

Till then I'm considering how to shift my little personal mod into the new age.

Ciao && have fun !
