I want the FO4 Creation Kit.

If I download Bethesda's new bloatware will it #@%$ with the main game so it must run with Fallout or will I only have to put up with it while using the FO4 Creation Kit?

Are you forced to use Bethesda.net as a mod manager/launcher?

Nah, not in my experience.

I tried it out and it was... okay. But it needs work with it's functionaily and user interface. I just simply "deleted" all the mods I'd been launching with Bethesda.net (I didn't download anything with it) and switched back to NMM.

I had been using YAFOMM almost since launch cuz back then it was a pain to use NMM with FO4. But now that NMM is up to date, I'm using it instead (I still insist on installing everything manually though).

Nope, you ain't gotta use it as launcher... and after using it myself I wouldn't recommend it.

I couldn't speak to Creation Kit usage as I'm still using FO4Edit. And... I don't what f4se is. Hmm, hav'ta Google that...

EDIT:

Ah! The Script Extender! Didn't even know it was out yet - have yet to use any mods that require it.

is there any particular difference between using NMM or installing manually?
I haven't noticed any bethesda forced usage today myself
but then I've only logged on to poke at things with the CK and that's it, never touched a mod or DL'd one, wasn't even aware that the bethesda.net mod scene had mods here didn't
and quite frankly I trust this scene more anyways

You need the launcher to get the CK, and to get updates to it, but you don't need it to actually run the CK. F4SE works just fine as well.

The game doesn't care since that's still married to Steam.
