Laup26
The ads were a huge problem for me a few months ago. I could hardly use the site. I tried ad blocker. But I felt bad. So I settled on the life time premium membership for the like $80. I am glad to support the site as a premium member but when i was subjected to the more resent ads it made be avoid the site. I am glad the sites taking steps forward to improve user experience. Keep up the good work. -Laup Edited May 15, 2016 by Laup26
Shivala
This is great. I disabled adblocker for this website, and some relevant ads I even clicked on (yeah I know ;)So good going! Be an example to other websites (looking at you Imgur)
Andarus2
I had to enable Adblock because a little time ago there was a f*#@ing video-ad with sound that started automatically on every damn refresh :/ Disabled it now, since I guess the horrible ads are gone now. bben46
So the problem is fixed? There is a saying with Programmers. "There is always one more bug." Meaning 'fixed' is a relative term. This bug is fixed. However, I guarantee there will be another one along. As for "Is it fixed?", You tell us if it's not fixed for you. It works fine for me.
Corni950
I always had to use an ad blocker, because the ads slowed the site down so much that browsing with multible tabs open became impossible (the irritating autoplay videos didnt help either). When I read your announcement, I put your site on my whitelist and now the ads are non-intrusive and inoffensive. Thank you :)
Baelfyre
I turned my adblock off, since I only enabled it so that I wouldn't have loud music/talk suddenly go off while I was browsing. I've had no issues with any of the new ads, but sometimes have no ads despite the adblock being turned off. Kudos to the whole team for being open and transparent. Ellendar12
Yeah I hate to parrot what's already been said, but I had to get an addblocker for the website because I couldn't open more than a couple tabs to compare similar mods without the adds nearly crashing my browser. Add on top of that the multiple videos automatically playing with full volume sound and horribly optimized high resolution videos it was a mess. Thank you for trying to get a handle on it and I know how much of a mess working with other companies can be, especially when you give them a window in to yours that you have minimum control or even knowledge over. WolfkroneAiE
After reading this I really do feel bad about blocking ads on your site now. Bought Premium instead. Thank you for being truthful and straight with us.
