billyro
Whenever doing the main quest, once I've done some missions and helped Mr. House or Cesaer, going over to convert the Boomers. Ugh!It is soooo boring and I lack the motivation to do it. I get up to that point and for some reason I want to start a new game. Why? How can I do it without getting bored? marharth
No idea, helping the boomers sucks. Honestly after I played through the quest fair a few times I just set my reputation to avoid all the stuff. drakeelvin
~player.modav repair 65, might cure a lot of that boredom ??? the rest is left as an excercise to the student :D Edited July 29, 2011 by drakeelvin
Iv000
I too sometime get the feeling I want to start a new game. It's because when you have the good equipment, are a higher level, and explored a lot of the map, it becomes boring. For me, 150 hours in New Vegas is enough. The new Fallout games don't have as much replay value as the older ones or the Elder Scrolls games. On the topic of the Boomer quests, I always take care of them, in a way I see fit...
billyro
It is quite satisfying... taking care of them once and for all. >:)
BGatot
I agree that helping the boomers kinda suck. They're such assholes! They all should be exterminated IMHO. They fire artillery on us then ask us to help them? And they call us 'savages'? They don't realize they're the savages! Iv000 was right, the game does became boring once you reach a high enough level. That's why I'm starting a new game now. Mojave really is quite a bit smaller than the DC Wasteland, at least in term of things to do, if not actual area size.

Big MT and Zion together is probably half the size of the normal map.
Ruadhan2300
someone should add more mods to the boomer territories :PI was kinda expecting a major thematic change when I went there...you know, "The Boomer Territories" sounds pretty major, but its just an airbase...and not very much of one.I want to try those flight sims, I want to explore the command center to the airfield.I want to see more aircraft around the place.and I want to see the banks of artillery.I also want to see a larger population, and more sub-quests. falloutperson416
Helping the boomers is really boring, yes. Nothing particular you can do really. I just have to suck it up and do it. You could always destroy them though...
TrooperScooperMKII
Boomer Mods that need to be made:Working Flight SimulatorArtillery "Simulator" (in 3-D glory!)Bomb-the-BaseDrop-the-Nuke (c'mon, a B-29, Fallout world, and not a single reference to the nuclear bomb?!!!capture the flag, now with explosives. and, yet-another-underwhelming-side-quest-to gain-an-ally-that-never-does-anything-until-the final-battle-despite-having-enough-weapons-to-wipe-out-a-city... but that's what Vanilla's for, right?
