SSxSilver
Many of you have probably heard of it, but Heroes of Newerth (http://www.heroesofnewerth.com) is essentially a stand-alone version of DoTA from the old WC3 custom maps. The game's a bit notorious for angry people, but if you can get past that and find a friendly group of people to play with, it's pretty enjoyable. In any case, there's a $10 promotion going on when you go through referral pages. Mine is http://heroesofnewerth.com/ref.php?r=W2C3WY5K (just be sure to uncheck the $20 coin package if you're cheap like me =P).
Iv000
Isn't this the same as League of Legends but you have to pay for it?
hoofhearted4
ugh LoL. i tried that after getting into SC2s DotA for a while. i got into it when it first hit shelves, got decent at it, stopped and when i came back there were twice as many units, many ability changed of this units i was used to, all the shop stuff had changed, and ya, i didnt feel like re learning all that so i gave up. anyways, played LoL offline, just me vs AI. way too easy. you get 3 guys to choose from, easy to pick up. anywho, i went online, me and other ppl vs AI, and the AI got mad good, i couldnt do crap to them. then when i realized you had to spend money to get other ppl (i thought they were unlockables) i jsut gave up on that. it was funny on SC2 seeing ppl with records of XXXX/XXXX, by that i mean, a few thousand wins/losses. i went on a few months back, and i saw a couple of ppl with numbers in the ten thousands. lol i think my record was something like 30/30 or something. lol
