davidnowlin
Ever since the last update, every time I add or delete a mod in NMM, the next time I start the game, I get the "This game relies on content that's missing" prompt, with a list of mods that are missing and I have to disable and re-enable all the mods I'm running to get them to work. Anybody have any idea what's causing this? It's getting pretty old.
Lonewolf214
Yeah I get that some times now and then. Used to be all the time. Granted the plugins.txt for me was untouched and I just use notepad++ Insert function to put in the *'s.
Royhr
Are you using the most updated version of NMM (0.61.23)? The older versions og NMM had an issue of disabling all pluggins if you installed and removed a mod or just rearranged your load order. You also may have to go in and disable all of your mods and then re-enable each one again. If you do this make sure that your pluggins, txt is not read only. I feel like a complete noob. I was running 0.61.20. I thought the program would tell me when an update was available, but I can't believe I didn't run the scan instead of unchecking and rechecking 60 mods fifteen times and whining on the forums. Anyway, thanks for the headsup.
Royhr
Well don't feel like a noob because a lot of people seem to assume that NMM will auto update when a new update shows up. If you go to the NMM settings and look under general there is an option to check for updates where you can set how frequently NMM will check to see if there is a new version. Default is set to 3 days but you can choose from 1-7. I always look at what version is available when I first go to Nexus mod site and if I see a newer version available I'll go to NMM and force the update.
