Adrius2
Right, so you wanna use Powa Armor. **** yeah, I'll just find me some armor and put it on and... and... and go through over 9000 quests to get the ability to even wear the stuff. Meh. So, we've seen some solutions to this problem. Some mods simply let you wear Power Armor instantly, others let you choose a perk that gives you the ability, sometimes with a penalty applied. Simply removing the perk requirement is not my thing, this is some advanced piece of technology we're talking about here, some amount of training should be required. Choosing a perk then? Ah... feels weird when I can get it for free, even though the quests are so tedious we all want to use our level-ups effeciently. So... how bout a training manual? Pick it up, read it, gain Power Armor training. You don't waste perks and you don't waste time. I was thinking that somewhere around Nellis Airforce Base might be a good location. It's not tedious to get there, but it's not at the complete start of the game either. Plus if you use Project Nevada (of course you are using Project Nevada!) you'll have Boomers walking around in Airforce Power Armor, and they must've learned to use it somehow. So... anyone up for this request? :) Edited July 25, 2011 by Adrius2
razzy1319
Try this Havent tried it myself. There is another one with the exact name as this thread here. A simple search before posting wouldve done wonders. Thanks
Adrius2
Ah, but I did search. I had seen your second link which requires to kill the BoS leaders, which would ruin the roleplaying for me. Your first link however, didn't have Power Armor in its name, which was why I didn't find it. Thank you. That T-51b manual mod is pretty close to what I wanted. schlangster
Project Nevada adds a few power armor training manuals itself (2 + 1 in the testing room). One can be found with the VaultTec PA, and the other one is next to Gopher (I forgot where exactly that is, eventually with the advanced recon armor :)). You can check the PN datasheet for the location of those armors.
