Peregrine
Before I begin, I must give you a few words of warning. You'll probably think I'm a liar, give me complaints of "following stereotypes", or simply not belive me. But I am absolutely serious when I say this, every word you are about to hear is true. At first sight, Wug_Noob fits seems almost copied from the definition of "barbarian". Well, at second and third sight as well, but I'll get to that. He stands over six feet tall, and nearly as wide. And every inch of it pure muscle, his head being no exception. His only clothing conisists of fur scraps barely adequate for the name. Well, when he can remeber to put them on, that is. He carries a massive battle axe, and a child-at-christmas like look appears on his face at the thought of battle. An intimidating aura around him keeps most people well back and out of reach (or is it just the smell?). He rarely says more than a few words, mostly because that's all he knows. A greeting of "wug" is his favorite introduction, and if the person fails to complete the ritual by showing off everything in their posession, he explodes in a berserk rage, beating the poor unsuspecting victim to the edge of death for their defiance of the gods. Wug_Noob was born in the northern barbarian lands, in the home of the Noob tribe. From a very young age, he showed a natrual talent for smashing things. He could beat men twice his age without effort, barehanded even. Unfortunately, his intelligence never seemed to catch up. Despite his father's place as an elder of the tribe, he was destined to be no more than a common soldier. Not supprisingly, he found no objection to this arrangement. Wug_Noob finally earned his full name when he demonstrated an amazing talent in trading for the tribe's needs. With a few grunts and a wave of his axe, he could strip a merchant of their entire inventory. Of particular interest were the soj-rings many merchants carried as a form of low-level currency. No matter how many of the shiny rings Wug_Noob collected, it was never enough. The mere mention of one would send him into a relentless quest to take it for himself. Of course just to be fair, he'd always give a scavenged sword, or a few chips of soul gem. Finally, when he "traded" for an especially nice sword, the elders decided to name him after the sacred Wug ritual. And with that name, they sent him out to make himself known in the world. Actually, they just did it to get rid of him, but don't tell him that. Now in Vvardenfell, he still takes his quest seriously. He takes any job he can find, anything to increase his reputation. And he has found no shortage of work, now that his strength and skill in battle have become known. And the sack full of soj-rings he carries around everywhere he goes has only become heavier, as every merchant around is happy to trade away the worthless things. wesaynothin
May I please ask what this is? D2 and Morrowind mixed together? It's quite obviously not a character intro... What is it???
Peregrine
But you're wrong, it's quite obviously a character intro! Just as soon as another rpg gets started you'll see....
Switch
*Scratches his head* I dunno what you're up to... but er... whatever it is, I hope it's... constructive?
Peregrine
Of course it's constructive! I intend to play this character sometime, as soon as a new rpg can be made. And this is just the background, stats and stuff will be added once I know the rules for the rpg I'll be using him in.
wesaynothin
umm.... What's with the SoJ's? They have nothing to do with morrowind, and quite frankly they suck. You can convince n00bs you're uber-1337 while wearing them, but thats about it...
Peregrine
And FINALLY someone gets the point! I made this character as an avatar of everything wrong with the average bnet player, as (of course) a barbarian. Soj hoarding, 1337ish, no english skills, etc. Then I got bored and decided to translate him to Morrowind. Now of course the rings are useless. He's just got a sack of common rings dragging behind him, thinking they're some valuable treasure. Feel sorry for the poor man! Edit: wow, 1200th post. Anyone think I need a life? I'm not sure whether you need a life, Peregrine but you said you wanted a girlfriend for Christmas. As I said in my response, girlfriends and computer addicts don't mix. So... GET OUT MORE!!!! wesaynothin
(Dont flame me for necromancy or off topicness. Im in a bad mood right now. <_< ) Umm... Peregines a moderator right? I don't understand... Isn't this pure spam? The whole thing is a complaint about SOJ's. SOJ's are from a completely diff. game. I guess the whole Wug Noob thing makes it fit in this boards... but just barely... harumph.
