Midas MAgic Question

Heya, all. Just installed Midas Magic a while back, and I'm on a quest to unlock the Midas Lightning Storm spell. Unfortunately, I need a Greater Shock Essence and a Greater Entropic Essence. I have a feeling that I need to break down sigil stones in order to get these, but I'm not quite sure. Could anyone help me out?

If you buy all of the books from Midas they tell you exactly how to break down things and what you can use to build the other essences you need. Read those.

You don't even need to buy the books for the explanation of essences. There is a manual next to the aurum assimilator, which explains it in full detail, but I will give the short version here.

 

You find a sigil stone in oblivion, you take put it in the aurum assimilator and hit seperate. The result is 1-5 lesser essence of whatever type of enchantment the sigil stone had and it's power. If you want to change the type of essence, from lets say a fire essence to shock essence, you go to the basement (where the astral portal is) and look for the big machine in the corner with the coin slot. Put in the essence you want changed, activate the coin slot to put in 100 coins and hit the button to change it. Note that this only works on lesser essences and the resulting essence is completely random.

 

Also, 5 lesser essence = 1 greater essence, 5 greater essence = 1 pure essence.
