Sudieken
Alright, good news. I installed to the game folder and decided to search for the armor. I ended up finding one set, and it appears to be working perfectly. So something must have messed up with the file placement. I think I may have a hunch as to what happened. Am I supposed to have a second data folder inside of my regular data folder? Once I open it I see tons of meshes, sounds and textures, but I can't tell if they're mod related or not. Sudieken
Alright, all done. Now, I have a folder called "Sounds", which I don't see anywhere else. What should I do?
doubleclick123
(LOL) Make it yourself, or if you REALLY THINK IT'S INVISIBLE THERE, go load oblivion in the tes construction kit, then save instantly, go to the oblivion folder and it should be there locked... Even if it is there... Make another one...
nosisab
I'm not sure the problem was corrected... you should NOT have another /data folder inside the /data... this is easy to correct just move the internal /data to Oblivion's folder and accept replacing everything. PS: this kind of problem occurs when the mod has an actual /data in the packed file, these mods are to be installed at Oblivion's root folder and not in the /data. Only those mods which have ESPs and /Textures /meshes, etc visible directly are to be installed under /data . Beware that mod with a /data in it's root may need choices to be made, I mean not to install everything but one of two or more options. That's specially true for mods which have yet their own folder name appearing in the packed file. Edited August 2, 2011 by nosisab
