Nvidia black screen problems.

This game is so awesome, despite being plagued by so many technical problems. I seem to get whacked with every existing bug, and no "fix" I try for most of them ever works.

 

I knew it I was going to get slapped in the face with this one when the tech guy told me he was putting an Nvidia card in. I knew it, I just knew it was going to happen, and sadly I was correct. Sigh.

 

I pretty much can't play because the screen almost constantly flickering black, or just going completely black altogether (at least in 1st person).

 

The fix I downloaded off here does not work. Wrye Bash Patch's "fix" clearly does not seem to be working either. Please please help me, I have no idea what to do. I just want to play but this is making it impossible. :(

It would help if you included the full specs of your system, hardware, operating system, resolution you are running the game at and the environment the computer lives in ie...how hot etc.I am playing the game on 4 different nVidia cards on 4 different computers with no problems.

Well I am not sure why this would suddenly be happening, I had absolutely no problems like this before I got the nVidia card. :(

 

I have the nVidia fix last in my load order so nothing would override it so I don't know why it's not working..

I have been fighting with this for a few days now, I think after all my testing is this - when boss readjusts my load order, it puts uop 320 before uoshivering isles patch and dlc shivering isles.esp - if I load it after the shivering isles patch I do not get the 1st person black out, plus the headless mode, I am still testing this as I just found this out - I sure hope that is the problem - so far so good for me, no black outs today. Try that and see if it helps you and let me know, cause I sure would like to.

 

 

Here is what happens to me - 3rd person, I cannot go anywhere, have to jump to get somewhere, then in 1st person everything goes black, my head disappears (even npc top half missing) and the options on the doors are not even avail to go anywhere.

I tried creating a vanilla character, thinking it was my custom character, but still the same problem.

 

Let me know if this helps you, I'm gonna go test some more and see if I get any more black outs or headless modes.
