Stargazer09
I don't mind how the player goes invisible when I sneak (due to the "chameleon" effect on armour) but the drawback is that it renders iron sights and reflex sights unuseable. Is there a mod that enables this so that I can aim down the sights when sneaking? Thanks. noahdvs
You can edit the HUD so that a dot crosshair is visible in iron sights and reflex sights. It won't look as nice and it could break immersion for some, but it'll make you a lot more accurate while moving.

noahdvs
Thanks. How do I do that?Open up HUDMenu.swf in JPEXS Free Flash Decompiler (FFDec). You may have to extract it from Fallout4 - Interface.ba2 using the archive manager from the creation kit installation or B.A.E. if it's not already in your \Data\Inteface folder. Go to the sprites section inside JPEXS FFDec, look for something called HUDMenu_fla.dot2none, delete frame 1, save and you're done. The whole no sight while being Mr Sneaky was about as good as closing my eyes and pulling a spray n pray lol. Eventually I will figure out the new CK and see if I can't eliminate the invisible sight thing, but this is perfect for the time being.
3y3p4tchp3t3
I used BAE to extract Interface.ba2 and used JPEXS to delete frame 1 in HUDMenu-fla.dot2none just like in the instructions and it works for me, usually, but sometimes the dot disappears until I load a save. Not really a big deal but I'm wondering what may be causing this. I extracted Interface.ba2 into the Data folder, and left it extracted, which makes me think the original file may be conflicting with the extracted files. I don't know much about the inner workings of games like Fallout, but I'm thinking I need to repack the Interface.ba2 file after deleting frame 1 and replace the original file with it. Any help would be appreciated. Also, since the game files are compressed, apparently, would it be a good idea to extract all the files so the PC doesn't have to handle this during game play? Any good tutorials on how this stuff works?
