1. No. You can play all DLC's whenever you want. (except for Broken Steel of course  ) I would however recommend to play the DLC's only if your character has already leveled up quite a bit.

2. Depends on your own skill and how you've distributed your skill points and what perks you've taken. I'd say at least level 10.

3. There is no Vault 12 so I don't really know about that.

4. By reading this post of course!

5. Yes, it still messes up if you play with a custom race. There is however a fix for that. Found here: LINK

6. Make sure to get some good weapons and armor before you do MZ. The enemies in it can be quite difficult. Especially if you have a low level character.

7. Not really. Depends on your own experience of them. For example: There's a mod that shortens the MZ DLC, but that's just for those who didn't really like that DLC.

8. I suppose. :teehee:

If you mean Waters of Life, you don't have to do it at all, and the DLCs are not related to it, either. You can put in hundreds of hours, and not touch the plot quest.
2) what Lvl should I be to Start the DLC for a challnge?
Set difficult to very hard, and get mods, especially MMM. Consider FWE and FOOK, as well, but they can be a bit much for a first play through. In the vanilla game, mercs stay hard forever, but overall difficulty is not too high for anyone used to shooters, w/o modding. The lower the level, the more difficult. The worse your choices of perks, the more difficult.
3) What is this Vault 12 Bug I've heard about?
I think that's a much older game.
4) How do you shut up your little brother who Keeps Asking these and more questions, without invalving the police?
Pizza, cheesecake, kittens, bad movies?

I made the Change there......Note to self: Proff reading at 5:AM Drink MORE COFFEE!!

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Vault_112#Bugs

Most likely it would be the 2nd one.

In general, I'd recommend getting CASM, and setting it up save all the freaking time when not in combat.
