That's actually not impossible, and is quite a good idea. It would eliminate conflictions, and greatly reduce the number of things loaded. The only thing, though, is that everyone uses different mods, so the only way that'll happen, is if you do it for yourself, or someone is feeling nice and does it specifically for you.

While we are all pipe dreaming and basically describing what we want to see in TES V, because lets face it most of the mods people are describing on this thread have already been tossed in the "can't be done well enough on TES IV to be worth the effort" pile. I have a dream mod in this pile and after much thought I have decided to wait for TES V to even attempt it. I would like to see a TC that brings me into the world of Naruto. Oh what fun I could have. The five nations. The five hidden villages. My clan is my race. My bloodline limit is my racial ability. My jitsu's are my magic. My quests are missions for money. And my goal is to be Kage of my village not save the world. I will protect my village not from bear and troll but from ninja who attack with incredible stealth and of course the occasional giant tailed demon.

I'm gonna train hard for the next two years and when TES V gets here I'm gonna be ready. It may be hard to complete and I am a nobody but I'll never give up no matter what. Whatever they throw at me I'll just keep coming. No matter how many times I get knocked down I'll just getup and keep on modding. I won't quit till I fulfill my dream and make a Naruto TC for TES V. That's easy. I am dreaming about a mod that will combine all the games ( Morrowind, Daggerfall, Oblivion.. etc etc) into one vast game and multiplayer option.

1. That is well on it's way to becoming reality as I have said, with the Silgrad Tower project. After reading Raorwing's interview on the Bethesda Blog I just don't see him giving up anytime soon. 3.0 should be very impressive and the mod may see 7.x by by the time TES V gets here.

 

2. I have to agree with you on that one. Oblivion's magic could stand to be much more diversified, but again Bethesda is reluctant to steer away from lore. Rather they will likely give us better control of that aspect of modding the game by giving us the ability to create new skills and maybe even new schools.

 

3. You can definitely count on Bethesda to come back with a bigger and better AI. Look at all the improvements on the systems that were present in both III and IV. You can expect Bethesda to improve all the current systems on the same, if not bigger scale as the transition from TES III to TES IV (and yes that includes the omission of something that sombody will be displeased was removed). Also, as is the way of our creator, something entirely new and probably undone up to this point.

 

 

 

Even if our every wish is fulfilled in TES V and in the process world peace is attained, an end to world hunger, and a cure for all disease came in every box, people will be right here complaining about the very object with which they center their lives. (It's human nature)
