LeopoldCrank Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 If the next game is Elder Scrolls VI: Black Marsh, could we finally see mainland Morrowind, as the Argonians have taken it over? Discuss...
billyro Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I think that Black Marsh will be the next one too, but it's too early to be discussing it.
Zeazer Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I think that Black Marsh will be the next one too, but it's too early to be discussing it. I think he mean't if the next one is set in Black Marsh. How will they deal with the "Argonians have taken over Morrowind" issue :)
El`derina Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 (edited) Simple.... expansion or DLC EDIT: Or rather, probally not at all.... npc's might mention or reference it,.. but I think Bethesda doesn't like re-visiting the same areas even if they have changed. Edited August 12, 2011 by El`derina

But the point is that they wouldn't be revisiting the same area. Vvardenfell was destroyed, even if they wanted to relook at it. Mainland Morrowind wasn't in Elder Scrolls III, except for Mournhold, which could easily be rebooted for a more Argonian feel

I'll just always know that no matter how long the series goes for, the only way I'll visit mainland Morrowind will be in a randomly generated area in Arena. "sigh"
ReaperLeopard Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I'd rather a Sunset Isle game full of arrogant High Elves gets made. A magical land full of tall towers and unique monsters.
Dark5pace Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 I say, let the Argonians and high elves merge into one race. I guess that'd make our dark elves. Why do orcs seem so "human" in the series? Can you guys think of one badass orc that stood out? I want eyes bursting, club on shield, towering, and with a minimal knowledge of "language." It kills my buzz to see orcs speak as articulately as everyone else, unless I'm missing something.
dwellufool Posted August 12, 2011 Posted August 12, 2011 Spoilers from The Infernal City. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when I read The Infernal City the Argonians who were storming through Black Marsh were under control of the floating city? They were manipulated by their trees or some nonsense. So, we'd be seeing what happened to the floating city, rather than what happened to the Argonians primarily, wouldn't we?
