macman83
Hey everyone.I'm having a problem. Every time i try to launch FNV it crashes, i then have to revalidate the files to get it to run. It runs for about 5 mins then freezes my entire system and requires a full reboot. The file which doesn't validate is c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\InstallScript.vdfI've tried reinstalling from steam and from the CD but neither work, must be an error in the update maybe?? My system specs: Windows 7, 2 Gb RAM, Radeon 6800XT graphics card, Intel core 2 duo 2.4 GHz. Anyone got any ideas?

maboru
I've found 'gettin' outta Dodge' to be the best long term solution myself. Here's something that simplifies it - http://lifehacker.com/5626931/steam-mover-relocates-applications-to-free-up-space-on-your-primary-drive
Fonger
OR, you could just edit the folder permissions and not have to move anything.the official move is around 5 keystrokes and leaves UAC to mind its own business while you mod happily with no re-occurring megalomania stopping you at the worst possible times
