Goliath978
So I got tons of Oblivion mods, but will they transfer to SI? Such as natural weather, environments, exnem's body replacer, natural water, quarl's texture pack 3, sensual walk, illumination within, and lots of others. If not-what do I have to do to get them to work for Shivering Isles as well?
Heartcloud
Most of them will work, but SI might change some file directories or overwrite files, so it's always a risk. SI is a complete game so it's not some mod you can download, and you won't be able to see the files contained inside it, so you'll never know if some important files are overwritten without your permission (what a nice feature of installers  ). That's why I never bothered installing SI, hate to break my game because of it. I regret not getting SI before installing mods, which is the only good time to install expansion packs. Balakirev
Check the readmes that came with each mod to see if it runs in SI, or just in the main game. If you see no mention of SI, check on TES Nexus to see if another version has been uploaded for SI, as well.
LFact
1. Any mod for basic game will run with SI, mostly. Any mod that affects Tamriel Worldspace won't affect SI unless it says so, for SI uses its own worldspace.2. If the mod requires Shivering Isles, it means the mod uses assets from SI. So running it without SI can cause missing meshes/textures, or game crash. Edited August 15, 2011 by LFact
