Iv000
Actually I don't mind the big mass of female mods. The thing that bothers me though is that 4 out of 5 featured mods are female armors. (At least it's like that on TES nexus) I would like seeing a filter script implemented, if one adult rated mod is featured on the homepage there could be no more adult mods featured at that time, or that after a time some other adult rated mod takes that ones place. It's not really a big deal anyway, besides if the people created an armor mod and want to share it, let them! fore
Think it might be time to put a ban on staff posting in these inane threads! Come on guys.. :psyduck: YES. Please do that, Dark0ne. And I would add: ban on all users, who have made more than 100 posts before: they should be above such senseless discussions. Leave these comments to greenhorn mod users. (Sorry for that little flame, but I just hate this topic (hidden behind meaningless titles like "seriously?") again and again and again ....) Or, even better, you could just simply ignore the fact people are posting in this thread. You have more than 100 posts, so what kind of example are you setting? It's the "greenhorn" users that make these threads. It's a lot easier and more logical for someone with experience to explain something like this. Your post here actually has little to do with the thread. Anyway, to sum it all up. Modders create what they want to create. The only time they create mods for others is if they're answering a mod request, and they only tend to do that if they're interested in doing it. I intend to continue learning Blender so I can create male and female armors. I will not be making any "sexy" armors, as I prefer to make armor that actually serves its purpose. Full body armor is cool, whether it shows curves and skin or not. Bikini armor is...well, stupid. In a fight, the enemy is likely to go for your gut, so bikini "armor" serves little purpose (hence why there's never been such a thing besides fantasy). That's just my opinion though. Enough said. :D

Kendo 2
Posts like this.... ''for the ladies'' he looks like a gay grandad lololol;) I found this in one of my upload threads today. I guess I need to stop uploading male gear or anything that won't be approved of by slobbering teenaged text tards.
Quetzlsacatanango
I'm sure you don't care what I think, but maybe you should care even less about what slobbering teenage text tards think. Or report them and move on. Or disable comments. There's lots of ways to go if you want to share your mods.
Kendo 2
I don't care what they think. They are the guys that wore their underwear in the shower in gym class. My point is, the mentallity of it. They make fun of it or post pathetic things to discourage modders from making (or at least uploading) things they don't approve of. People like them are one of the root causes of modders not sharing male gear. At least that is the way I see it.And instead of roasting the little sh*t and clowning him hard, I reported the post.
Quetzlsacatanango
LOLI'm just saying if you don't care what ST3s think, you shouldn't let them determine what you post or don't post. My opinion on it anyway. Edited August 19, 2011 by Quetzlsacatanango
razorpony
I look at armor and clothing mods as a form of artistic expression. When I make an armor mesh I make things that I find aesthetically pleasing to my eye. I'm assuming others do the same. I find the female form to be more inspiring than the male form, although I've done armors for both. Often times though, the game is of secondary concern to me. What I mean is that I make the armor not caring if it 'blends' with Oblivion lore or not, or whether it may be considered 'practical' or not. I just use the game engine for testing purposes. I know a lot of modders who rarely ever play the game anymore, the fun is in the creation process. This isn't anything new either. Google the term 'fertility statues' and you'll see pages and pages of figurines that have been carved since the dawn of man having exagerrated hips, busts, and sexual organs. I have downloaded several mods of skimpy or sexy female armor that I never use in game. I download them because I appreciate the way they look. I'll place them on display in my mannequin room or something to look at once in awhile. Have you ever seen a pinup pic of a girl in the snow wearing fur boots, bikini, and hat? No one looks at a photo like that and says 'That's so unrealistic, there's no way she's warm in that!'. Yet those images sell because people think they're sexy. The biggest point of contention from what I can see is the 'Hot Files' image rotation. I don't have a solution for it. Everyone seems to have their own ideas about what they want to see there. I'm just glad I'm not the one having to deal with trying to please 2.5 million picky modders. (Buys Dark0ne a beer) RP Oh and Myr, I think that retex looks pretty cool also.
