moonlightoverwater
How do you join two parts of a file together, once you've downloaded them? I've downloaded parts 1 and 2 of Modular Beautiful People, and I tried everything I could think of. But they are not working - I'm getting black missing heads or misplaced eyes, and so on. I assume I have to put both parts together somehow. I've only seen files with one part before. Hope you can help?
HeyYou
Installing both parts should be adequate to the task.... however, if you have more than one 'beauty pack', Wrye Bash is required to make them play nice together...... Load list please?
Rabbit1251
You may need the latest version of 7zip. Right click "open with". That worked for me. Rabbit

Thanks for the advice. I did as you said, and successfully got a data folder with an esm, two esps, and meshes, textures and sounds, so that part was successful. A well-earned kudos for you! When I loaded them however, (after saving a copy of the data folder, of course) I got messy eyes and faces, some missing altogether. Even the vanilla races were messed up. I had to delete the data folder and put my copy of the previous data folder back in. I'm not sure what went wrong there! :( Looks like I might not be able to use "beautiful people" after all! :( MoW Edited August 16, 2011 by moonlightoverwater
David Brasher
A well done multipart file will tell you exactly how to install it. There will be information in the readme file telling you exactly what to do when installing the file. When you go to install a complicated mod, always be sure to look at the readme file.
