Dark0ne: Thanks for letting me know where you are!

I just LOVE it, really. Its actually easier for me to use this site...hmmm, I should say someting profound?...something about keeping it simple is *the* real beauty! I am not a whiz kid on computers but you have sure helped me become something of an enigma to the family games...tee hee...they think I am so smart...and it was actually all your hard work that let me utilize your site that wow'd them!

So

1)Thank you.

2)The mod lists that go on forever is a nightmare to search through...looks like you got it going on there with the categories looking great! I will try to dnld something later. (its dinner time here & the crew is getting testy)

3)Kudos on the site and ALL your hard work!

Happy to be here.

To Dark0ne, and everyone else who helps maintaining this site (sorry for my bad english).

After browsing some mods, and looking at possible things that where easier to use in Tessource, I found something that annoyed me. I'm used to d many things at the same time. Browsing, looking for mods, chat...

And I found a great difference between your new site and the old one.

I must say, althrough i'm a quite experienced computer user, I never knew how to run a server or a site where any people can upload things on, so I dont really know what's possible, but my suggestion:

On Tessource you could always see on the title of the page what mod er page you are viewing. That was awful when using tabs like in Firefox. But on Tes Nexus you always see 'Oblivion mods? You betcha' so I spend long times being lost searching what page is is the mod I opened 4 minutes ago...

So can you change that?

On the whole things are looking very nice, sleek and professional there are however a number of features that I am desperate to see returned so what follows is my wish list...

Browsing Features:

The title of the modification should appear in the modifications html page title, this is an absolute must for ease of navigation and has allready been brought up in this thread.

Their needs to be a necessary files section in each mods download page to list all of the links to other mods that the active mod depends on. For example all of TeamFF's files depend on the TFF base file being installed first but I have no way of directing people to that base file other than through the description.

The two columns one with 'Main, Files and Community' the other with 'Latest News, File Search and Poll' would be much nicer and less obtrusive merged into 1 column giving more space for the actual content, I know this means that single column will be longer than most peoples screeen res and they will have to scroll but they have to scroll anyway to read the actual content, I think the gains far outweigh the teensy loss.

It would be nice if there was a way perhaps in the 'Gallery, Files and Actions' column to display the five most recent comments on the active mod.

I really wish you could just pick a spot in the corner to stick your Premium Add, at the moment it just gets in the way of everything; I am hoping this isn't intended if so I would politely suggest you look into marketing tactics, in particular how agressive tactics will more often than not discourage and offend your target audience and should only be employed in cases of building new product recognition (you may have a new name but it is not a new product and employing such agressive tactics will only ensure a slow and lackluster uptake by the community)

Upload Features:

Please for the love of all that is holy allow us to upload more than 1 image and or file at a time, I have atleast 5 screenshots for each of my released mods that I need to update and doing it 1 at a go is excruciating.

The Change Log doesn't appear to work correctly, I updated the description and author sections of one of my files and it is reporting a version change that never happened.

Thats all for now, no doubt more issues will appear as I spend more time in the site but until then as I allready said it is looking really nice, congratulations and I hope my suggestions are taken in the good spirit they were intended.

Cheers,

Daede.

Thanks for the new site Dark0ne! I've always liked the format for the Updates Today and I noticed that the page is layed out like your former site, so I'm pleased man! Nice font and the colors are very similar. The downtime allowed me to explore the Construction Set and the Wiki, but I was worried you weren't gonna come back up. Your site has always been one of the best around!
