Great new site! The only thing I would like to

see is the old system back for navigating downloads.

It is just a bit harder to find what I am looking for

in the new system. Keep up the good work though and

thanks for keeping this going.

I'm new to your wonderful and helpful web site. Soon I will even be a "premium member". I would like to see a little spot for someone to suggest mod ideals. I do not have the means, or know to make mods, there are a lot of ideals I have and think others might share my interest. If there is already such a "spot" then I apologize for my ignorance and your time.

I must say, you are the best! I know this was no easy undertaking and admire you for all your efforts. I like the avatar at the top of the page. I for one can relate to the charactor as I have played both male and female. I had no idea that one person, yourself, could possibly put together such a wonderful site that you have and that attends to so many diverse levels and needs of we gamers. If I had a horn I'd toot it for you but you will just have to do with my many thanks. Keep up the good work Dark0ne!

A nice site. Very good for a new site build in only nine days. My compliments. A little bit more in detail (forget the little bit, it is a lot :-)):

What I like:

The “fixed” parts of the site (header, menus, banner, footer) looks like a unity. It has al to do with the lack of lines between the different parts (except the small line above the footer, how would it look without this line?).

The three columns used for the files pages (latest files and the pages you see when you browse a category). This way you see twelve mods without to much scrolling (if the add wasn’t in the way).

What I don’t like (or find clever/wise):

Home and News are the same page. The Home page should tell people what to expect from the site. TESNexus is a site for up- and downloads of mods for the games of the Elder Scroll series, in particular Morrowind and Oblivion. It is not a fansite for the Elder Scrolls series. Or sometime like that. Every new visitor of the site should know what to expect from the site in a few lines. The News page should tell the latest news. Everybody who visit this page should know what TESNexus is and what not. At the moment new visitors of the site are not welcomed, they are “bothered” with the reason why TESSource isn’t anymore (a site the probably never heard of) and what is rescued from that site to the new one. I hope you haven’t got the time to split Home and News and you are planning to do that.

What I definitely not like:

The placement of the add. In a lot of pages it is to wide so it doesn’t fit into the column layout, for example at the browse category pages (look at http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/cat.php?id=40) where it ruins the look of the page.

In the pages of the individual mods it’s not at the same place as most other pages and from the first time I looked at a mod page it annoyed me. The add is in the middle of the description where it takes al the attention. As the description of the mod is the most important place of this whole site (in my opinion) the total misplacement of the add made me almost answer No at the poll Do you like the new site?

Where I’m not sure about:

The two columns for the menus at the right. I’m not sure two short columns (no scrolling) are better than one long column (scrolling, but more space for the rest of the site). Experiment with it (maybe you already did) and choose wisely.

Have your say at the bottom of the Index page. It doesn’t belong there, it should be on the Home page or the News page. I guess the placement of a request for feedback call on the Index page is onetime only?

In my opinion Updates today and Updates recently should have the same layout, baring the timestamp on the Updates today. At the moment Updates recently uses a wider column than the Updates today.

I hope you find my comments constructive.

Hi y'all

Love the new site!!!

nothing moving so my slow internet speed can open it quickly.

should use a better background colour, like the cream from oblivion itself. with the oblivion font.

1. I noticed as I was logging in that I typed in the password wrong. It told me so, but didn't give me any back button, or redirect or anything. I had to right click and choose back.. I would fix this! :P

2. I like the Home | Login | Reg.... etc menu at the top. I noticed that when I click files or any other button that HOME stays highlighted. It would be cool if say you clicked login, then that menu item would be a highlighted box. Shouldn't be too hard!

Great job! I love making websites, although I create my own templates. Mine isn't too good though...
