Blue Screen

I can't seem to run oblivion in Ultra High detail. I practicly have a brand new computer (6 months) and I

don't know much about PC Statistics and stuff, but I think mine should be able to handle a game like

TES: Oblivion IV from 4 years ago! Even if they did stretch the graphical boundrys of the time.

Here are my stats

System: Packard Bell L5800, Windows 7 64-bit. Default System BIOS :S < no idea what that means. It's

processor is an Intel Core i3 CPU and it says "@ 3.07GHz (4 CPUs), *3.1HGz. All French to me :L.

It's memory is 4096MB RAM.

Display: Intel HD Graphics core i3 < thats the chip type. Approx. Total memory 1696 MB < that to me seems

pretty low, is there anyway you can clear space? The driver model is WDDM 1.1.

What happens is when I try to go in to "Ultra High" detail mode which I think my computer should be able to handle

seen as it was £800+ is all the HUD is there like my health and compass. But, the game screen, the picture,

is just a blue screen. Is there anything I can do? or will I just have to play in crapy mode? I try to use HDR

instead of Bloom mode, but to be honest I can't tell the difference. It also has an Anti-Analising option but I

can't seem to turn it on, all it says is "Antianalising : None (best performance). I can't seem to change it.

Thanks for any help!

Make sure you are playing at a screen resolution that your monitor can handle. You cannot play Oblivion with HDR/Bloom enable and AntiAliasing at the same time, *unless* you use your graphics driver to force AA and keep it turned off in the game settings.

can you get a new display thing? the intel hd. If not, what can I do to play in Ultra High. i didn't just spend 800 quid on a computer for s*** graphics

What you need is to have a decent graphics card installed.
