Gracinfields Posted August 17, 2011 Author Share Posted August 17, 2011 Well I also hear that with each weapon you have to unlock the sites not just a one time thing and that all SMG/PDWs are all kits. Shotguns are likely to be that way as well. I will update this thread with links to the real life info on the equipment and any new weapon that I hear and can somehow confirm in game. You see, MW3 will be a hit with the console players. That's where Activision decided to put all their chips into after MW1 and burned bridges with COD games on the PC. Remember the whole debacle about the PC version for MW2? I don't think Activision cares anymore about the crowd that actually followed COD since the beginning. The BF3 franchise has traditionally made its home on the PC. BF1942, BF2, BF2142. Sure, DICE has had console diversions with Bad Company, but BF games have generally made their home on the PC. Now, in terms of pure numbers, because consoles are consoles, I'd expect MW3 to have more players. Which is fine by me. As long as DICE delivers and always sticks with the vision that is "Battlefield." Options in gaming, big maps, big numbers of players, infantry and vehicles (a major seperating factor from other FPS games, esp. COD titles), and just as importantly, Team-Based Gameplay. I've said it before in other forum: In BF, it's not about your Killstreak or K/D ratio. It's about your team, actions helping to success with your squad & team, and / or how competent your leadership as a Commander or Squad Leader is.
