I swear you're obsessed with this thing Thor. :P

For a handheld it has pretty good hardware in it though. I have a PSP 2000 or 3000, but there were virtually no games to play on it for me, the only one that really I wanted was AC Bloodlines, but its a pretty bad game looking back.

Basically, I will save my money for either games or the Wii U for next year. PSVita is confirmed to be released next year :P Besides, look at all the stuff in November alone!

Rumours have it, it might be coming out this year, if it gets announce on the gamescom event that started today, the specs is a start.

Yea i am very excited about it thats for sure. I always was looking for a none ipad-cellphone witch i don't care about getting a plan for. Its not worth it on my Opinion. But this caught my attention.

Some interesting thoughts from a developer on it....

http://uk.gamespot.com/vita/hardware/playstation-vita/news/6328971/people-dont-want-ps-vita-heavy-iron?mode=all

I think describing it as car crash is going too far but he does make some good points about the competition from iOS and Android, people unwilling to carry multiple devices around means a smaller user base, that combined with the much lower development costs on iOS/Android could be a problem for Sony.

Apple, Samsung, HTC, Motorola (now Google) and LG are the real competitors Sony and Nintendo need to be taking on, if they both continue to pretend they are the only two in the market then it will all end in tears. Sony at least have foothold in the smartphone market, they can build on that. I fear for Nintendo who have nothing at all and may find themselves pushed out of the market they've dominated for so long.

WHHHHYYY, lol thats a lot longer wait then expected, i thought it was January. August is Wow.

I don't believe that report, EBgames is still saying January or earlier for the release, thats just a guesstimate.

Its misleading

and Xenoblade US August 28th Release?

psvita still for January.
