.357 is a red ! but lucky isnt

ive tried every thing i can think of and i still dont get it the normal .357 is always a red ! unless its on the ground if i use it or a npc does its a red ! but the odd thing that tells me its not a mesh issue is that lucky does not do this it looks normal can some one explain why the hell this is happening also this is the only gun in the game doing this thank you

Lucky uses a different mesh.

 

Lucky: weapons\1handpistol\357revolver.NIF

357 Revolver: weapons\1handpistol\357revolverShort.NIF

 

Try extracting the mesh from the meshes.bsa and place it in the proper directory (above :P )

 

Edit: Oh yeah, there's also the issue of whether your 357 is modded (in-game mods). Here are the paths for the mod models. Extract those too.

 

Mod 1: weapons\1handpistol\357revolverShortHDCyl.ni

Mod 2: weapons\1handpistol\357revolver.NIF (Same as Lucky)

Mod1-2: weapons\handpistol\357revolverHDCylinder.nif
